Penwick Characters (Bios) background story for Penwick the Peacock and the Helpers:
Wisdom the dog, Grace the butterfly and Faith the dragonfly.
Penwick:
I selected a peacock because that was what Mother Mary said to me,” you are going to write a book about a peacock “, and I said, Yes, Ma’am. Originally called Precious the peacock, through the writing and editing process, before self-publishing I changed the name to Penwick. And here we are.
Penwick the peacock: Penwick was a happy peacock and lived with his family and friends by a lovely lake in the lovely land of many lakes. His momma always knew Penwick would have many fanciful tails to tell, and named him thusly, that he should write of his adventures and of all the helpers he met. Penwick was always a curious peacock and often would find himself in need of his helpers!
One day Penwick got caught in a briar bush and was stuck-he remembered what his Momma had told him just that morning, “if you ever need help-remember to say Love, please help me. Thank you.” After He said the words, a few minuets later his friends saw him and were able to free him from the briar bush.
Penwick was so happy to be reunited with his mother. And his mother was grateful that her precious one had paid attention and asked for the help that is always there waiting for us simply to ask.
Wisdom the dog:
Wisdom is bounding into the water like good dogs do and was the first to arrive when Penwick asks Love for help. Wisdom is a dog Dogs are full of Wisdom. Dogs are amazing companions and bring a sense of comfort and safety when they are around you. Dogs know things.
Wisdom comes from a family of wonderful and caring canines. Wisdom’s Mother is a brave dog named Experience and Wisdom’s father is compassionate dog named Courage. Because with expericence and courage comes wisdom.
Wisdom is signaled by Grace the Butterfly who gathers the Helpers in funny and amazing ways.
Grace the butterfly:
Grace is everywhere. Grace is in the air we breath, and the flowers that bloom. We could not live without Grace. Grace is the hand of Love that moves life along when flow is needed. Grace used to be a caterpillar, cute and brown and fuzzy round, and then one day she turned into her graceful self and was now a beautiful butterfly.
It is Grace that changes everything and helps the Helpers to arrive. Grace is metamorphosis in motion, changing everything and making what was once difficult easier, because the help is available to assist. When butterflies flap their wings, change happens. Grace calls upon Wisdom and Faith to provide the help when called or asked.
Faith the dragonfly:
Faith is the final Helper joining Wisdom and Grace. As Wisdom was born of Experience and Courage, in turn giving Wisdom faith and trust in self and with a grace in knowing things will turn out just fine.
Faith transforms. When you have faith, a belief, or a feeling that you will be safe, or ok, that sense of calm, that is faith with a side of grace! Faith is a wise dragonfly because of all the experiences she has had. This has given her wisdom to know that there is grace to keep her well, free from concerns or fear. Faith understands that when she asks for the help that she needed- it arrived. It must, for that is how the universe was created. We come into life with our team of helpers assigned to us. But we must ask. We must, as Free Will is our sovereign right and nothing can violate that.
